Suanne Camfield is a gifted writer and public speaker and serves as the director of women’s ministry at Christ Church – Oak Brook, IL. She previously served as development director for Caris, a pregnancy resource, counseling and advocacy center. She is a founding member of the Redbud Writers Guild.

Suanne frequently teaches to communities of all ages at her church, preaches on a regular basis, and speaks at a variety of other women’s events around the country. She has written for Strangely Dim, Her.meneutics, Kyria, MomSense, Gifted for Leadership and was a contributor to the Every Day Matters Bible and the MOPS devotional Always There.

Suanne is the author of The Sound of a Million Dreams.

Alice Wood is an author, financial literacy specialist and the Founder and President of The Wealth Watchers Foundation. She works closely with a dedicated team and numerous volunteers who share a simple goal; to help people spend less money than they make!

According to Alice, “The measurement of our success is to see consumer debt rates decline, bankruptcy rates decline, foreclosure rates decline, and the national personal savings rate reach 10%.”

The foundation of the program is the Wealth Watchers Journal, a simple tool to help people set and track a daily goal for spending and saving. The Wealth Watchers Journal gives people a daily reality check for where their money goes. The journal and the proprietary system Alice uses reinforce the philosophy that “every day and every dollar make a difference, because no one should underestimate the power of a day”.

In this episode Alice shares some of what she’s learned about connecting with clients and maintaining financial confidence amid the uncertainty of COVID-19 and beyond.

J.R. and his associates own and operate Acceleration – Sports Performance, a fitness and training facility geared towards developing adolescent student-athletes. With two locations in the Naperville area, The Acceleration System uses the latest researched-backed protocols and proprietary equipment to produce the safe and high level results. Observe the choices you make. Be honest, write things down. Look at every decision you make over the next 48 hours. Make note of the people you connect with (or neglect to connect with), log your physical health, emotional wellness, spiritual priorities. Are you all about yourself, overly concerned with other people or equal parts personally pragmatic and pluralistic?

Are you leading yourself, and others, to get back to better? In 48 hours give yourself a score from 0-10, with a 10 being the highest/best possible. Consider sharing your self-assessment with an accountability partner (or here in the group) for follow up and support!

Kevin Coyne has lived – and been active – in the Naperville community for more than 20 years. He is the past Executive Director of the Naperville Last Fling and has been involved with the Naperville Jaycees, Naperville Chamber of Commerce, West Suburban Irish, Exchange Club and KidsMatter. He has coached his daughter’s soccer teams for several seasons.

As a local business attorney Kevin is also proud to be a part of the Naperville City Council. Prior to his initial 2015 election to Council, Coyne served on Naperville’s Planning and Zoning Commission from 2011 to 2015. In addition to his Council duties, Coyne represents Naperville on the DuPage Mayor and Managers Conference’s Legislative Committee and is the Naperville City Council Liaison to the Downtown Naperville Alliance (DNA).
